Due to its excellent fire resistance, flame retardancy, and low-density performance, it saves processes and materials in the application of fire-resistant wires and cables, resulting in lower overall costs. Its surface has undergone physical treatment and equivalent chemical modification treatment, which can be highly compatible and dispersed with the resin, making the extrusion speed of the product faster and the appearance smoother. (1) Flame retardant, currently similar products on the market have almost no flame retardant characteristics;
(2) Low density, the prepared adhesive particles have a density of less than 1.4g/mm3, which is more than 20% lower than other similar products;
(3) The temperature for porcelain formation is low, starting from above 550 degrees Celsius.
(4) Burning without deformation or cracking; Good crust formation, complete porcelain formation, and high temperature resistance of the porcelain body;
(5) Large filling volume, good processability, and stable physical and chemical properties and dimensions of the final product. It is recommended to add at least 60%.
4.Case study of porcelain powder used for polyolefin fire-resistant cables
Reference formula: EVA265 25%; POE8480 8%; Grafted PE 5%; Silicone masterbatch 2%; Ceramic powder JLH-TCP65 60%, can pass the heating and cooling program test of 950-1000 ℃ specified in GB/T 19216.21, and become a hard ceramic state in a fire environment, without melting or dripping, and can maintain the original complete shape of the cable and normal power transmission.
