Product Overview

1. Description

This product is a kind of halogen-free environment-friendly flame retardants. It has the function of flame retardant and smoke suppression without producing drip and toxic gases. It’s cheaper than the halogen, phosphorus and other system, and it is one of the most widely used in inorganic flame retardants. It has the characteristics of ultrafine, high purity, white and low iron and sodium content with the uniform particle size distribution.

The principles of usage are as follows:

(1) Carbonization mechanism

Flame retardants produce strong dehydrogenation material in the combustion condition, making the products not easy to produce flammable volatiles, thus preventing the flames from spreading;

(2) Covering mechanism  

The protective film can be formed on the surface of combustible material after dehydration. The film will cut off the oxygen, but stop the burning;

(3) Dilution mechanism

The filler can reduce the concentration of combustible polymers. The water vapor releases water vapor that dilutes the concentration of flammable gas and oxygen to prevent combustion.

(4) Heat absorption mechanism

       The filler at above 260 ℃ of dewatering endothermic will inhibit the rise of temperature of the polymer.
